We work with many companies seeking to improve the investment decision process for their 401(k) retirement plans. We are a Registered Investment Advisory firm that works closely with some of the largest CPA firms and their clients assisting companies in establishing or searching for a new 401(k) provider as well as fulfilling their fiduciary duties by reviewing their 401(k) retirement plan.
One of the responsibilities that a fiduciary of a 401(k) plan is to initially and periodically review a sampling of 401(k) providers. This helps fiduciaries demonstrative their objectivity and duty of loyalty to the plan participants (i.e. acting in the interest of plan participants and their beneficiaries). Typically this involves documenting that a reasonable number of 401(k) plan providers (we recommend a sampling of four or five) were compared to ensure that participants' interests are protected.
Through the plan’s advisor, Voit & Company communicates recommendations of your plan’s account allocations and the allocation of contributions specific to your 401(k) plan.
